What is Welding?
Welding is a process in which two or more metal, thermoplastic, or wood parts are attached to one another through the application of heat, pressure, or both. With some materials, a special process may be required in order to weld the components to become a parent component. Welding results in “fusion” bonds, different from those made from brazing and soldering, which do not melt the base metal.
What are Some Prominent Welding Technologies?
Welding is an established manufacturing process with new and emerging innovations being applied to it year over year. Consider submitting an RFQ through manufacturing services such as ProdEX to take advantage of welding for your next project.
