Material Jetting is Ideal When Gradients are Needed
Our material jetting 3D printing service offers extremely fast turnarounds and outstanding quality for parts requiring high accuracy. Our combination of Stratasys PolyJet and 3D Systems MultiJet Printing provides you a one-stop shop for an unparalleled range of materials. We offer ABS-like resins to flexible rubber-like resins, wax parts perfect for lost wax casting, and multicolor printing.
Material Jetting Process Overview
Material jetting is the process of a print head repeatedly jetting a thin layer of photosensitive resin and then curing it immediately with ultraviolet light. The print head contains multiple jets, which allow for variance in material properties such as hardness and opacity and, in some cases, full color. This is the only process able to produce a gradient of soft to hard rubber-like material or a gradient of a clear material. Though it can be more expensive, this process is great for many things such as highly accurate, color mock-ups, and mature prototypes.
